Beschreibung
Légion d'honneur is a Miniature Wargame Rule set specifically designed for 28mm
In the work since 2010, these rules allow you to play at the brigade level in 3 to 4 hrs, at the divisional level in 5 to 8 hrs and, for the most dedicated ones, also let you simulate battles between army corps.
The principle of these rules is to offer a fair balance between historicity and playability.
To achieve that goal a few principles have been adopted:
Play during - what we think - is the most even historical period: 1808 to 1813
Erase some of the preconceived ideas of wargamers, such as line of fire/sight, English only in defense... to that goal historical researches were done using at least 2 different sources to make it in the rules.
Stop with the idea that a battle is won by the number of minis removed from the tabletop.
Take into account formations actually used in that time period.
Take into account fatigue and the psychological overwhelming of the troops.
It may seem an ambitious project but that is what is on offer, including the fun factor.
LH is easy to get into, offer multiple opportunities to simulate battles, and under certain circumstances allow players to be in complex and challenging situations without being a pain.
